The VersionKeep program

• Your files and their backups go only where you choose to back them up: a drive, a folder or a server. They are never sent to us.
• VersionKeep has no telemetry and no ads. It connects only to the places you back up to.
• The keys that unlock your backups are kept on your PC, protected by Windows. We never see them.
• If crash reports are added, they will be off unless you turn them on, and you will see what a report contains before it is sent.

This website

• No cookies, no analytics and no tracking.
• Nothing on this site is loaded from another company's servers, so visiting it tells no one else that you were here.
• The server that hosts the site keeps a standard access log: your IP address, the page you asked for, the time and your browser's name. It is used only to keep the site running and is deleted within a year.
